Offline VOC analysis system
Low background chemical barrier: The sample is stored in a nalophan film bag inside a stainless steel canister, and sealed with an inlet valve.
Reproducible sample and analysis sampling: A port enables control of the flow rate in and out of the bag for sample collection and analysis
Improved sample preservation: Double chemical barrier and continuous operation at up to 60ºC, which also prevents condensation
Reduced and predictable sample degradation: The power case enables continuous temperature control and canister logging, with external power and internal battery.
Offline VOC Analysis with minimized confounders optimized for SESI-HRMS:
Precondition Canister: At the sampling site, preheat the canisters by connecting them to the Power Case, setting the temperature, and powering it (recommended preheating time: 2h)
Collect Sample: Connect the Canister to your sampling system (i.e. offline Exhalion module and quick-connect the mouthpiece for breath analysis, and suction sampler for other applications. Open the inlet valve and collect your sample.
Store: Close the canister valve, place it in the storage position, and connect it to the Power Case. The temperature of the canister will be logged and controlled while the canister is connected to the power case.
Carry: The power Case is USB powered. When not connected to external power, it runs on its internal battery. With 90 Wh capacity, the Power Case can maintain 5 canisters at 40ºC for 20h*
Super SESI-Orbitrap Analysis: Bring the Power Suitcase to the lab. Connect the Canister to the Super SESI interface, and open the valve.
